I agree, great sounding board. I have a Fender Chroma Polaris.

I have a Roland Keyboard. Probably a bit outdated now. I have a Roland sound module and sound sequencer that is probably outdated by now. It records on magnetic disks, and I doubt I can buy those anymore.

Not sure why they stopped production, but the final Rhodes electric piano was the Mk V in 1984.

Probably stopped production because every keyboard/synth/workstation made had a Rhodes sound. Just like the B3 sound tho, they never sound as good as the original, but unfotunately, unless you have the bucks, the "specialized" keyboards cost way much more now to acquire. I'd love to get my B3 back

Fender can't reissue the Rhodes. The company is once again independent. Check out:

http://www.rhodespiano.com/

They've made several announcements and held an intro event with prototypes I assume, but I don't think they're ready to sell any yet. It might be a hard sell given that many keyboards can emulate the sound. Even my modest Casio has a decent "Riders On the Storm" sound. I hope they are successful. I love the sound of an EP.

FYI, Suzuki bought both Hammond and Leslie companies, and the B3 has been reissued. They also, make digital versions like the XK-3 that have been available for years from sites like musiciansfriend.com.
