On a lighter note, no pun intended
Happy Birthday Robert Arthur "Bob" Moog, founder of Moog Music, was an American engineer and pioneer of electronic music, best known as the inventor of the Moog synthesizer. Born: May 23, 1934, New York City, NY

He was born in the same year and the same place as my mom, except her birthday is in March. I never knew that beforehand. You know, that is one instrument I wish I knew how to play. That would be quite handy, I think. Happy Birthday, Bob! 8)

I agree, Paul.
When I was a young lad I used to have dreams about playing piano.
I still have that desire sometimes, particularly when I hear some sweet B3.
I've drooled over the Moog Voyager and the new Hammond SK2 but both are a little pricy for a guy who would basically be starting at square one.
About the best I can do is make some simple chords.
Kinda like my drumming skills.
Simple 4/4 beat with no fills I can muster but that's about it.

Happy Birthday, Bob.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I've collected some odd recordings over the years. Some are like photographs that tell the time of an era, but are more of an interest to one self rather than with company. Thankfully, I included Moog in my music collection of recordings. Every once in a while I get in the mood (sic) to reminisce the early synth productions. Bob Moog, you made a lot of that possible.

A belated Happy Birthday.
