I'm a fan of the Shubb capo. Used the same one for the last 15 years or so. Easy on, easy off, easy to adjust and sturdy.

Being able to adjust the pressure is a big plus for Shubb capos in my view. Too many capos sharp the tones.

My main problem with them is how far they stick out under the neck. That's just my playing style, though: I often fold my thumb up along the neck when I'm not using the thumb for fretting. This lets me brace with the base of the thumb instead of the tip, so it's less tiresome. For me, that is, and quite possibly due to having double-jointed thumbs that require extra muscle use not to bend backwards. YMMV.

This works fine on my Strats (9.5" radius), vintage Coronado (7.5" radius), and two acoustics (12.0" radius). It even has a feature for holding a pick. What more could you ask for?

Yea, it's a good one but I'm asking about the Fender models.

Not more, but less. It sticks out more than any other capo.

I have a Fender branded capo of this type:

I don't think it's made by Fender, though, just branded. It's ok, apart from the strap being nylon and leaving marks.

I heard that they were made in Mexico...could be just someone's guess...I don't know.

The Dragon is supposed to be very unreliable, other two should be fine.

As an aside, I have the Planet Waves one linked above and I've compared it to better and worse capos... I think capos are really over rated with respect to brand/design. As long as they work -- and even the crappy $3 spring models available on ebay generally work fine! -- they work and it's more about what design you prefer using (what's more comfortable and just what tweaks your gear fetish!). From my experience, if your guitar has beefy frets, your capo is going to sharp your notes, if your guitar has more modest height frets they hardly change...

I'm pretty sure Fender is not a capo maker... probably only branding the Chinese products they can get for cheap... just guessing.

I like using capos! Have fun!

Sorry Mike but none of your links worked for me they just take me to a front page with not a capo in sight.

Didn't work for me either.

It would appear to be an international issue outside of USA. Here's the redirected web page address:

http://shop.fender.com/en/intl/start#start=1

It's just one of those thingys that happens from time to time.
