In January of 2009 a new screen name appeared. She called herself 'texasguitarslinger'. Still in her 'teens, she was an aspiring musician and a regular contributor to our discussions. In the manner of the generosity of the members of these Forums she is the owner of a guitar she christened 'The Forumcaster'. A partscaster the members of this Forum contributed the elements of and helped her build. She's enjoyed a formal college education in music, has been playing out, recording, and touring. She'll be heading off to Scotland again soon. You can follow her blossoming career on her Facebook page. Another significant positive for the membership herein. We are much proud.

Doc

I have some of her songs.
They're quite good.
Thanks for the reminder, Doc.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I've been following her career on FB. Nice to see her progress.

It's extremely gratifying to witness success in people one has expressed confidence in.
