It seems there is now at least a tie up between Riffstation ( www.riffstation.com ) and Fender. Ok, no big deal but I seem to have lost my Riffstation songbook and can't find a way to reinstate it !

Any ideas ?

The beta testing went very well. Definitely worth the $35 for the pro version!

Riffstation sounds like a cool and useful program. I'm wondering if and how copyright will enter into the picture with the downloads and uploads. Each country has different legislation, laws, and policies some of which is controlled by government, some of which is a corporate or individual legal issue, and trade agreements including the unpopular WTO is also behind the wheel. At least for Canada copyright is a difficult and complex issue hard to navigate. While I share both sides of the issue, I'm sure the songwriters and publishers will have their eye on this. I only hope it's not an evil eye. :?
I think software like Riffstation, YouTube and others, would do well to simplify the issue with details and links to address the issue as it pertains to copyright and who is the authority in a given region. Perhaps, a subscription for acceptance to use copy written material would be beneficial to both sides. There's a chance for the music industry to reap the benefits they desire while allowing fairness for the consumer at the same time.

I know it sounds overly complicated, and it is. It's also a real concern in the music world. YMMV.

Other than that it becomes buyer beware. No?

I don't know what I don't know.

I was unaware that Riffstation was even a thing until I saw this thread -- a very useful tool, thanks for the info!
