I've been looking for information on the FA-125S Mahogany, but there doesn't seem to be much out there. I'm wondering specifically how it compares to the Ibanez AC240 (I'm in the market for a solid top mahogany guitar). Does anyone here have the FA-125S Mahogany?

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

BMW-KTM: That Fender link doesn't work if you're in the US. I'm not sure there's a way to paste Fender links that work for everyone after the latest "improvements" to the web sites.

My own experience with mahogany tops is that they're more attack and less sustain, and well suited for hard pick use, and not so much for light fingerpicking. I haven't tried either of those two, but have good experience with newer Ibanez acoustics, which seem to be more back to their Spanish roots than what they made a few years ago; they play faster without sounding muddy.
Otherwise, try asking at the Acoustic sub-forum? There may be more acoustic players there with experience with those guitars.

I've been noticing some little annoyances with the Fender site recently but I didn't realize is was a country thing.
According to the link I posted the FA-125S is only mahogany on the backs and sides.
The top is spruce.

No, they won't. If you see "/intl/" as part of the link, and the visitor comes from a US IP address, Fender will just redirect the visitor to the front page.
And, presumably the other way around, with "/us/" as part of the link and non-US visitors.

It really sucks, and is not an improvement from a customer point of view. Fender, if you can't determine what the same page is on the "other" side, don't redirect to the f#&* front page!

Well, it would be nice if you could see the page even if you couldn't purchase the goods, etc. :(

I didn't realize there was an acoustic specific forum on here. I'll have to try that.
