I have not been to one in a while... but the one I remember best is a RUSH concert when they did their PRESTO Tour. That trio can jam!

By far the BEST shows I have ever seen were PINK FLOYD's and Roger Waters solo tours, then were the J.Geils shows but these were all back in the 80's . The only show I would love to see now days would be The Police.

Mother's Day 1975 I took my Mom to see Marty Robbins at the local county fair. Only about 25 people were in the crowd. Marty put on a spectacular show!!!!!!!

Well, I saw Radiohead at Bonnaroo 2006, and they put on a legendary 28 song, 2.5 hour setlist. Their longest to date. That completed my life.

Then I saw Clapton from the 4th row on his last show of his past tour in Columbus, OH. That was great, but somehow took a second to Radiohead's energy.

Fastforward to now, I've seen John Mayer three times to date, and each was great, but most recently I saw him in Cincinnati, OH (6th row) on June 26th and then Cuyahoga Falls, OH on July 1st (10th row). I won a contest, got backstage passes, met him before the show, he signed my guitar, and then played one of the best setlists I've ever seen from him. That takes the cake.

This is one of the hardest questions I've ever had to answer, but I'll stick with Mayer.

I saw the Goo Goo Dolls last year in concert. They were with the Counting Crows. They put on a pretty good show.

Recently, I guess it's a toss-up between Steely Dan and Buddy Guy. Jon Herrington and Walter Becker are great players and Buddy can still "bring it" with the best of them.

Too numerous to mention but here are some contenders:
Santana at Brooklyn College
Rolling Stones in Milan, Italy
Emerson, Lake, and Palmer at Madison Square Garden
Richie Havens in Central Park
Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, and Winton Marsalis in Central Park.
Talking Heads in Bologna Italy

My first concert was Jimi Hendrix in White Palins NY, April 1968

i saw Paul McCartney and The Rolling Stones in the same week about 2 years ago. Paul was awesome.

I saw Steve Miller he was great too. Bo Diddley was cool, BB king, Pinetop Perkins, Koko Taylor and Hubert Summerlin were spectacular.

I also saw willie Nelson, not bad and the Doobie Brothers. I got a signed poster from them they were great!

I just saw John Mayer at the DC Verizon Center and I would agree... WOW! Anyone who thinks he has a weak voice should go see him live... The Studio does not do him justice!!! I also enjoyed James Jameson, but Ben Folds was awful.

Before the show they were selling Tee shirts that said “I love the Ben Folds band before they sucked!", which made me laugh out loud. But then I saw them play and man they were bad. The sound was terrible and I think his piano was out of tune. He tried to have a bit of energy at the end of his set but I just did nothing for me. So a great band, at bad band, and then a great band all in one concert!

But the best was CLAPTON!!! He still has is it!
