I was curious about a guitar and came here to look it up and see the specs.
I see the "tabs" for specifications are gone now.
I was unable to find another kind of link to specs.
Hopefully I'm not going blind and this is just an oversight that will soon be corrected
Brad?

Like in this example, under the main picture at the top there used to be tabs so you could see specs for each model.

Works for me, at least the Am Elite and the RW 60s both show specs under the spec tab. :?: I am using an iPad.

Clicking your link takes me to http://shop.fender.com/en/emea/start#start=1 - that's the start page...
Checking via the link address, 0193900700 = AmPro Jazz Bass. The HIGHLIGHTS and SPECS are on the page, below Nik West's video.
No SUPPORT tab, though, like in good ol' days...

Plus, many links to different Fender pages (search engines, web pages etc.) just throw me to that shop.fender start page. Links I get from Fender's emails (yes, I'm still mailing list subscriptor), to Tech-Talk & such, don't load - the vicious red circle just keeps on rolling.

I've emailed Fender on website problems. And on missing service diagrams etc. That was November 2016. Answer was, their web/digital team is working on the subjects...

I'll do the unthinkable and quote myself:
Quote:
Gravely disappointing and totally disasterous website update.

Here's a low-res screenshot of what I see at the URL I posted.

Hey Beemer, I navigated to the same page on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Internet Explorer. All display normally for me. You definitely appear to be missing some tabs. Try updating Flash and Java if you haven't already done it and then try the site again.

Flash and Java both updated.
Computer restarted.
No change.
Thanks for trying.

A little more information would be helpful.

What operating system and what browser are you using?

it's clearly something in your configuration, not the site.

Safari
OS/X 10.12

That's the same as when I used to be able to see the tabs.
Nothing has changed on that front.
To the best of my knowledge, this just started yesterday.

OS/X? Go ask an Apple Genius.

Well I can tell you this - nothing changed on my Microsoft Windows based computer and guess what? Nothing changed on the website either. Maybe your Apple computer has a virus.

I'm willing to entertain the idea there might be a "setting" amiss somewhere.
I'll poke around under the hood since everybody else's is working.

BMW-KTM, are you still having this issue?

Looks like it's fixed.
Thanks Brad!

Great, good to hear it! (As you've no doubt gathered, your experience is a fair amount different than the US one ... hence the discrepancy that you were reporting - i.e., the sites in question are not the same.)

And that's become a real problem after the site redesign. Earlier, if you went to the front page, you would be redirected to your country's site if appropriate, but now it checks for every page, and if it can't find it for your region, it drops you to the front page.

This is a problem here on the forum, because we tend to post links to products, or embed image URLs. Now, if you do that, patrons in other countries (or who use proxies in other countries, like Hurricane Electric to get around IPv4/IPv6 problems) are unable to follow the links or see the images, and the posters have no way of knowing that others can't see it. It works for them!
This is not helpful.

If a corresponding page cannot be found for a different country, show the linked page, perhaps with a disclaimer saying that this is the US/Canada/Japan page, and may not be relevant in the visitor's region. But don't toss the visitor who follows a URL to his region's front page. That's not useful at all.
And never do a redirect for images - I cannot see any valid reason for redirecting images based on country.
