A video clip from our 3 piece from last Saturday. It was a very fun venue, lots of singing along from the crowd, die-hards to the end, and the owner paid us well for an extra hour with reassurances we'd be back. Just about all you could ask for from a gig.

I enjoyed that a lot - nice vocals and harmonies!

Great video, Chris. Thanks, for the entertainment. Not surprised the band is asked to come back. It's obvious you had a great crowd. English and Canuck t-shirts in an American brew pub was a nice touch too!

Thanks for the positive reviews guys! This group sure is a lot of fun.

My one "complaint" with that Hofner bass is lack of a comfortable position for my thumb, so I can extend my hand out more "flat" for lack of a better term. It has a nice warm tone for this group though. A thumbrest is probably the answer but I'm leary of drilling holes into the body to fit one on there.

Pretty good show. 8) That Hofner sounds pretty good, too. What kind of strings you have on it?

I ripped off the tinny crummy ones that came on it, horrible. Now I have an actual set of Hofner "contemporary bass strings .040 - .095 roundwounds" I tried flats but just didn't like the feel of them. No pedals or effects, just bass to wireless to tuner to Fender Rumble 500 amp.

I run a direct line out of the amp into our Mackie board, mains are two Fender Expo's and one Behringer sub.

Tonight went pretty good. Lots of people on the dance floor as well as
listeners. I started the night using one of my Strats and then used my
Tele for a few songs and had a hard time getting the tone I wanted, so switched
back to a Strat. I blame it on the acoustics of the venue. Stuff happens!

I'm with you, Mike. Lately with my playing I've been blaming the acoustic too.

Tonight was a lot of fun. Had some old out-of-state friends come by and they
sat in so we did some old tunes we used to do together (You Wreck Me, My Sharona,
Smoke on the Water and Pretzel Logic) and it was cool. Met some new peeps and
the band was on fire from the get go. Very cool night. :D

Quite nice - I hadn't blasted out those Blackmore power chords for many years. In fact it was so
much fun I went to a music store today and played them again. lol
