I can't compare Iron Man and Dark Knight. They are both different movies with very different flavors. Iron Man was no where near a dark as this Batman movie.

My sentiments exactly. Awesome movie. I wanted to go watch it again after I left the theater.

Thumb's up. I saw the original in '89 and Jack Nicholson was a great joker. This one's better, because Ledger does a very different and equally good joker, and the rest of the movie is much better. Even though the whole idea of a guy who dresses up like a bat and beats up criminals is better for comics than movies, they really make it plausible in this series.

That may be true but it won't keep them from trying.

It is called setting a higher standard! Now the other studios, as well as Warner are gonna have to work overtime! Warner to maintain the standard and the others to meet it!

I thought it was very good overall. All of the characters were good, though with all the hype over the joker, I thought I would be disturbed to at least a small degree. Didn't happen.....just a character.

I will give it to the director but "two face" was corny. Nobody in that shape gets out of bed and carries on. It may be OK in comic books...but on screen, in a movie...not so well. It's about twenty minutes too long and by then I was ready to move on as it was getting hokey and dragged out.

Still, a good movie and definitely worth going to see.
