Sorry guys, I've had a few "health challanges' lately. I just didn't want to advertise it since there are others here with bigger problems. Well that and I'm not one for bringing attention to myself. But since the cats out of the bag.....

I've got a section of colon thats prone to nasty and painful infections. It's going to have to be removed. It's not like and emergency or anything, I could wait a year to do it I guess. Just something that's going to have to happen eventually.

I also had a mild "cardiac event". Not really a heart attack, just a shot across the bow. Gotta make those mid-life lifestyle changes and quit living like I'm still 27. Have one of those treadmill stress tests scheduled for next week. Ya know, where they put you on a treadmill and give you a heart attack (not really) by making your heart work so hard you think you're gonna die. Can't wait for that one. $5 says I puke on their machine. Anyway, that'll let me know how messed up the old heart is.

So that's what I've been up to lately. All in all I'm fine. On the positive side, I don't have to mow the lawn for the next few weeks! WOOO HOOO!

Don't sweat the treadmill tests. Not as bad as you might think. I had four in the last year. One of which, they put radioactive fluid into me, then took pics of my heart, before and after the treadmill. I guess the worse part of that test is just the time it takes. Anway, it's better to do it and find out just how your heart is doing.

Thanks guys, appreciate the nice thoughts. I'm sure I'll be fine. Minor inconveniences due to age is the problem. That and not thinking I was gonna live this long in the first place!

I think that might be my Grandma puking in the picture. Thanks a lot, Cryingstrat, for getting her so drunk she tossed her cookies!

(Zod...that is one of the funniest pics EVER! The look on that dudes face is priceless!)

I hooked up with them after a bingo game at the local Elks lodge, and now they just can't get enough of my bass-playin' ruggedness. Man, what cougars!

That picture (no need for me to have it show up on this page again) looks like something the group Drunk Horse would use on their album covers .... that reminds me to look up Drunk Horse on YouTube ...

a great rock band ...

You're doing well to heed the angina warning, CS, as too many don't and there's just no winning when you play the odds on an MI. I hope the stress test goes well, though if it does through something up it's better to be found than not - a quick trip to the cath lab for a stent, and you'll be better than before!

Hope the diverticulitis settles too, it's a sneaky bugger of a thing and is far more common than people realise. :(

Hey, once these 100,000km major service overhauls are done on your engine and exhaust components you'll be set for the rest of your travels! 8)
