At Walmart there is a line of Hannah Montana clothing, presumably for girls. I just shrugged it off. But now I see that there are Hannah Montana guitars available elsewhere. What gives? Is this a legitimate act with a talented performer?

I might get one then. I'll hang it between my Hello Kitty guitar and the Daisy Rock guitar, so I'll have three cool guitars to play death metal with.

Hannah Montana is legit. Unless I'm totally mispercieved. I saw a music video, on youtube I think, and it was quite an impressive crowd. It looked like they were having a better time than most concerts I've been to, however most were young kids as you can imagine (with no responsibilities). The crowd was most impressive and I can't really relate them to you. From that video I just assume she is a real performer and not just a tv show. If I were to guess I would say she is like a 14 year old Madonna, if I am wrong someone please correct me.
Today I went to the local music shop to see if they stocked the Behringer AC108 (and they didn't) but what they did stock was at least a palet of Hannah Montana acoustics. I hope it attracts new young guitarists that make it. You could check for a HM website, there must be one at least one, or look for videos.

Yes, but to the 15 year old children, shes legit. I don't really care about it. It may bring some people into guitar playing. Although I'm not particularly fond of everyone picking it up to play one or two songs, if they start at a young enough age, there could be a lot of good players down the road.

My 9 year old is obsessed with Hannah Montana AKA (Miley Cyurs) I took her to the Hannah concert back in Dec. it was your typical pop show, lot of dancing, broadway lights, singing, and screaming girls. I will give her props, she is a crowd entertainer....She does play guitar, i was shocked, in her encore, she preformed 2 solo acoustic numbers, they were pretty simple 3 and 4 chord songs.

I have been teaching my daughter guitar for about 2 years now, between Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers...that is all she wants to learn.

Hannah Montana is a made up name for Miley Cyrus, daughter of Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus.

I get on my soap box daily and preach the Hendrix, some days I feel like I break through, then there are other days it seems like it just bounces off....

She like to play my guitars and she always goes for my 60's reverse...So I feel there is hope for her yet! :)
