If something happened in your life, financial, medical, religious or whatever and you had to sell all but one guitar, what would be the one you kept and why.

I'd have to keep my Montara A/E. It's the one I play the most, can't have much fun around a campfire with a Strat.

Well, I'd probably keep my Sigma TB-1 electric-acoustic considering you wouldn't need an amp and you could sell that. If we get to keep an amp, then I'd keep my deluxe players strat.

Sorry, should have specified, no amps, just keep one guitar or bass.

Well, of course you'd want an acoustic if you didn't have an amp, and I'd keep my Taylor 310 L7. Great tone, great feel, ES pickup system, broken in perfectly, and I can play any style on it.

But, my favorite guitar of all time (owned or not owned) is my 98 american strat. Was black, I stripped and stained/satin-finished the wood, custom wiring etc - I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I don't know this is kind of like asking me which of my children I would keep. An impossible choice until you actually have to make it.

if I could only keep one it would be between my American Strat and my Tele.....I guess the Strat would be a little more versital and stuff...but the tele is just so amazing!! That would be hard...i'd probably end up picking the Strat...but I'd be heart broken to leave my tele.

Yeah, kind of like that, but not really.

I mean it of course makes sense to pick an acoustic but it comes down to what's REALLY your favorite, your first Strat, the Tele you played your first gig with, etc.

TELECASTER!!!!! I am just old school. Also I am am sure that if everyone could just keep one that the first jam I would go to would have 5 Stats for every Tele so a litte sharing would be happening.

I think I would rather be homeless and keep all 12 of my guitars. Just kidding in all seriousness I think I would keep either my Takamini Acoustic or my Alvarez acoustic but I would never be happy again.

My Am Dlx V-neck... sounds great, and I think I prefer maple, or maybe its just the 'soft v'.

I think I would have to keep my mim Jazz Bass. Its impossible to hear without an amp so I guess I would just have to play somewhere quiet. I couldnt imagine having to give up one of my babies.

Of course without an amp I'd keep my 314ce Taylor Acoustic.

With an amp, I'd let every other possession go before my Voodoo Strat.
