I just released my debut instrumental guitar CD, which just so happens to use Fender gear all over the place!

Check it out,

Cool let me know if u get a page or something.

I understand your frustration. i was just doing a bit of promotion. if someone used gear that I liked, i'd definately buy their CD, or at least check it out.

My intention is to promote fender gear, and get a bit of exposure while i'm at it. ya dig?

I spent 17 years building this project up, i'm not goin down easy :0
this instrumental thing is my life.

Talk to you soon my friend, have a great day

Yes, with all due respect, bluestube is right here -- I know you've poured a lot of heart into this and can certainly appreciate that but please post stuff like this once here in the Lounge and be done with it ... most folks are checking the Lounge *and* the other more specific forums so no need to populate the latter with news like this.

I'll go away, I am sorry to disturb you people. It's ashame though because I used a lot of Fender gear on this project & I thought people would enjoy hearing some of the songs.

Regards, and appologies.

Dude is proud of his hard work and very excited to let people hear it. I mean really, come on. Talk about trying to rain on someone's parade. I listened to it all. Very good stuff man. Don't go down easy! Kudos for keeping the responses polite in the face of opposition.

Definitely not trying to rain on any parades -- I listened to some of it as well and it's fantastic stuff! That said, a few folks have e-mailed 'spam' complaints and this golden rule holds true for ANY topic: pick the most appropriate forum and post it once.

Thanks Hollis, I appreciate it man . You have some great gear, I saw your signature. I bet the Highway strat is great with the Fulldrive pedal.

They removed some of my posts already, I don't know why it is such a big deal. I had posted a message about using Fender Twins on the CD too, which I thought would be helpful. I guess I'll save my gear related posts for www.thegearpage.net instead.

Glad you guys liked the tunes, feel free to contact me w/ any questions, etc.

I'll probably lay low here for a while except to reply back to posts or questions. Kinda feelin' a cold shoulder from the big wigs.

Come join me on myspace if you have one, I'd be glad to talk there too. www.myspace.com/soultostrings STS

Hey soultostrings,

First I like your music you posted! I heard some really good stuff in there.

I don't want to sound like a copper or anything but it was like every other thread I read had a direct link back to your music. I really like it but one advertisement is better than twenty.

Glad you joined the forum. You don't have to lay low, we are all friends here with common interests! See you around!
