Ok after listening to the new Joyn Mayer disc, and being rather impressed with steve jones(drums) and Pino Pilladino(bass) as the John Mayer Trio. SO it got me to thinking, who is the best bass drum combination.

Severl People come to mind
Tommy Shannon Chris Layton
Neil Pert & Geddy Lee
John Paul Jones & John Bonham.

There are many many more, what do you guys think?

Its actually Steve Jordan and Pino Paladino and I cant think of another Trio that groves like they do. They are all amazing together This DVD and the Try album they my personal favorite of what is out right now. John Mayers full band is not too bad either. Most of his band members are pretty successful in their careers outside of JMs band.

I couldn't remember their names or I would have listed them.

It's either my old age showing up or the meds I have been on.
