Mike,
I have a friend that recently went through something similar, Kidney cancer, and she is doing great now. She said the biggest thing was to keep a positive attitude and keep looking forward to the next day even when she was lacking energy and didn't feel well. She was really upbeat everytime I saw her during her therapy and I think that made a huge difference for her.

Mike,

Thanks again for always keeping your friends here in the loop. That recent news sounds very positive. You have been going through quite the waiting game with your health insurance, but somehow it has at least been turning in your favor most times. The month of May will be here before you know it. You are a righteous man and have proven that one can overcome the toughest of some challenges put forth in life.

See you here, on myspace and on Soundclick.

I can't thank all of you enough for the positive support. :)

All of you have each helped in some way to make this journey less traumatic (in my mind) than it actually has been. I believe in the power of positive thinking and hope that if anyone else, or a loved one, finds themselves with a horrible disease, such as cancer, that they too, will be strong, stay positive and maybe even find some useful information in this thread topic.

Peace, Blessings and my sincerest Thank you! :!:

Mike I've come to this fourm a little late but my prayers and mojo (not the austin powers kind) are with you!!!

My Dad had Hep C, he's not !@$ (fyi, I have nothing against !@$ people) just a uncleaned tatoo needle, and he got through it! He says the reason he made it is because he kept with his music (he plays blues hermonica) and kept fighting no matter what!! And if he gave up I wouldn't be here!! Don't worry neither me nor my mom got it!!!

KEEP STRONG!!!

Thanks guys. I'm feeling okay...I still feel the pain from the surgery when I cough or sneeze, but in general, I'm feeling better each week. :)

As Doc says, probably scar tissue or adhesions...?

Looking forward to the scans in May!

Thanks Bill!

It's good to have Doc for an alternate source of info. Every now and then when I have a question, I consult him AND my oncology team.

It would be great if more doctors played guitar.

I was recently offered a gig with a roadband, but after Doc and my Oncologist thought I was rushing it, I declined and have decided to do some choice, occasional gigs instead. I agree with them both now, but at the time, it was a tough decision.

I bet it was tough. Slow and steady Mike! And in no time, you will be back gigging!
