I've never heard of these before and when I saw this video it made me think about all the questions we routinely field on this forum from people looking for a very low volume amplifier for bedroom practice.

The thing is, your existing amplifier needs to have an F/X loop but I'm sure for some people this could be a viable and inexpensive option.

I can see the attraction, where space and portability is at a premium.
The ElectroHarmonix pedal amp has also been around for a while, I think?

I'm pondering getting one of the tiny hand-built 1W or 4W Vox valve amps, because I won't need a cab, and well, they're tube and should sound better than a Hognose. :)

Cool.

Yah, this is a new concept for me.
I never knew such devices existed.
Then again, I'm a rock 'n roller.
Playing amps at ungodly volumes is in my blood.

Yeah, I don't think any of these will compete with a Plexi :)

Still cool that there are choices, also for small and portable.
I even saw a 1970s guitar with a built-in amp and speaker the other day. Not sure what it sounded like, though, but buskers might have had fun with that.

I thought about busking one time way back about 15 years or more.
I bought myself one of those Fender Amp Cans.
It sounds surprisingly good.
Trouble is, I lost the charger and I never found a replacement.
Never did play in the streets with it but I went camping a couple times with it and played around the fire.
