I've heard of a product called Fastfret that supposedly improves fretting. Is this just another snake oil product that's not worthwhile, or do these things really have some advantage. Thanks.

Just another conditioner. I use Dr Stringfellow Lem-Oil fret board conditioner.

I use only this on fret boards now seems to work good I use Dunlop 65 for bodies and Stringfellow on fret boards. If you get a very dirty or dried out fret board I will just leave it on a little longer before wiping it off especially if they are dry it will bring it back to life. Its crazy how many guitars I have picked up were people keep them all shinny and wiped down but they never clean the fret board with any dressing of any kind.

Chet turned me on to Gerlitz Guitar Honey. I love the stuff. Only for use on rosewood or ebony fretboards. But is is great stuff.

Just another gem of wisdom from the guys here at the Fender Forum!
