Crying- Yngwie Malmsteen off the Trilogy Album I think. It was one of the first songs that made me REALLY want an electric guitar. Unfortunately I am pretty sure I'll never be able to play it. UNLESS, I make a deal at the Crossroads!

Realistically, the best all-around instrumental for any musician is one you can jam over.... solo.... do your own thing on. It has to be the most satisfying, for sure. The challenge of innovation is far superior to the near-rigid chore of repeating someone else's dictated melody. Some musicians love the idea that they can 'cover' a song as well or better than the original artist, but most find another level of joy from composing and performing their own material. So it is with jam-soloing..... on-the-spot. For any musician, it's a precious opportunity.... when the soul truly speaks.
