Hi,

I appreciate that the new password procedure guarantees that everyone here has a nice, long, secure password. Meanwhile, I prefer long, secure passwords that I can remember, so I have methods of making them up using multiple languages with intentional and unusual misspellings, very long, unique, and original, but memorable.

I don't like that I apparently have no means of creating a password of my own choosing. Likely, my passwords, being longer, are even more secure than the one I've been assigned, and since I personally type my own passwords, it's harder to mimic than if someone nabbed a device I'd been using and used a password management utility your password encourages one to use to pull up my long, cryptic password of your choice.

I'm sure you won't trust me enough to let me set my password, but I just want to register my displeasure with your choice of means of controlling passwords.

Some of us deserve to be trusted to create good passwords.

Finally got mine re-set today, thanks Brad for the original link.
I did attempt it a week or so ago, but I goofed it up by logging on w/ the new assigned email password then promptly deleting the email for security and not writing it down.. So I couldn't update/change the password in my settings. I had to start over, like a dummy....
Staying on topic, I use a random password generator and a logon tool.
I suffer from CRS syndrome...
