Unfortunately I don't have a seperate site for all of that, but I'm more than happy to help out here with ANY questions that you cool dudes may have. I don't know, maybe I should start a different thread for music theory and instruction? If there's enough interest, then I'll do it. Thanks bro and ROCK ON!!! :D

Yeah I hear ya on that man, but it looks like there's been a TON of hits here since I've been showing ya some little tid bits of theory with no other responses other than you and I for the most part. That's fine with me, but if I start another thread about theory and instruction, then I'm not just going to talk to myself if you know what I mean. Thanks wiiman8! At least I know that you appreciate the shared knowledge. If I do start something, then I'll structure it more like I would when I give lessons, but at least when I give lessons I make some cheese man... 8)

wow!!!
I figured some major stuff out!!
I figured out what the "pattern" of whole, whole, half, whole, whole, whole
meant, and I figured out all the notes in E Major, A Major, G Major, B Major, D Major, C Major, and I think thats it...
Now I will be able to play in these keys anywhere on the neck, as long as I know where the "root note" in that scale is using that pattern!
The hardest part is finding on the next string where the "root note" is without like, counting off E, F, F#, G, G#, A, A#, B, C, C#, D, D# etc...
Thanks a ton, you have helped me ALOT!

Yes! Yes! Yes!!! Brother...you are gettin' it man!!! There's soooooo much more to learn though that even using the shortcuts that I came up with myself, it'll take me months if not better than a year to teach you all of it. The part about going from string to string and having trouble knowing right away where you're at is something that NEVER leaves at times. When I used to hang out with the Free-Jazz dudes in college (I went to college for performing arts in classical guitar as well) I found out that even THEY had some issues with that at times as well. Don't worry about that for right now though because unless you're trying to completely "improvise" on the spot (which is my favorite thing to do with solos), then that ability is not needed. You'll have time to hash out what you're after ahead of time.

You made me smile and feel somewhat accomplished even after a horrible day. I just got done mowing for the last 3 hours at home! WHATEVER you want to know bro...just let me know man and I'll be right on it. If I had students like you to teach, then the world would be a better place :D ! I'm thinkin' that we'll just do that here on your thread because I don't really think that there's anyone else here on this forum that's more interested in it than you are. I feel like having a beer and a certain smoke  to celebrate your accomplishment!

Thank you!!!!!!!!!

ya, I felt really accomplished with it!
so where should I move to now, is my main question, or should I just keep practicing staying in key?
im glad that made your day!
well that sounds good to me!
thanks again for all the help!
btw, I started fooling around with some minor scales, and WOW!!
Im really starting to get it! I see what you mean you play a scale in basically and infinite amount of places!
I even started to write a song in the key of G minor!!
