I did this with an Epiphone 175 a while back. It was the first refret i ever did. It turned out a bit rough as i expected for my first time. A couple of things i did wrong. Well maybe only one. I didn't have a fret bender so couldn't precisely radius the wire which made it real hard to seat the ends. Second thing was to do with neck binding; i didn't remove it and do the fret work and then put it back on. I just removed the excess fret tang by filing it out. It took me literally hours because i didn't have those fret nibblers that remove excess tang. What do you guys do with a bound neck? Do you remove the binding prior to the refret? Or do you just remove the excess fret tang while leaving the binding on?

Remove the tang. File the hell out of the underside. Scrape the inside of the slot. Vacuum the inside of the slot out. And in the last case. Melt some cellulose and blob it on the fret ends to match up to the binding. I hate Gibson for that.
