How does this work? Obviously it's a downloadable software thing but is it only playable through a PC with a big amplifier built into it or can you plug it into an external amp? I don't have a PC only a laptop so ... i don't have the PC amplifier. Anyway i ask because i was watching a guy teaching some Hendrix songs online and his tone was immense and this is what he was using. Anyone tried it?

Thanks man. But how do you amplify it if you've only got crappy little laptop speakers? You'd never be able to utilize it to it's full advantage. Also plugging it into the input of a standard guitar amp seems kind of pointless. I don't even know if you could do that anyway it would probably sound bad. But i don't know much about this software as far as guitar playing go's. I'm strictly a guitar into a regular amp kinda guy. Here's the video i watched. You hear the tone the best when he starts actually going over the parts slowly.

Judging by the video, first of all you need some Brylcreem.

You use an audio interface between your guitar and computer. The interface has outputs
for headphones and/or to run through guitar amps, mixing boards, etc.

Hope that helps.
