Nothing special about the whole band thing. I've got a guy I've been playing with for years, a new guy who plays everything under the sun, and my brother. Not sure what direction we're going in yet,but I'm enjoying it.

And I'm finally upgrading the bridge and tailpiece on that 60-62 Kay I picked up in early July. With any luck, I won't have to scrap the neck. The frets are good on it.

I've got a basic Teisco repro vibrato and a Mosrite roller repro coming in the mail hopefully sometime this week. I figure if I can fix the set up with those, then I'll upgrade the tuners.

Anyways, I've been doing a lot of slide and heavy effected jangly type playing. I like the Kay's tone, so I hope it works out.

I've been drawing inspiration from The Smiths, Violent Femmes first record, and a lot of old $@!& like Swampgas, Fresh Blueberry Pancake, and Ros Sereysothei.

Sounds pretty good all around. 8) Of course, pics are must for the guitar when it's done. :P

You probably can't hear the bassist. He also plays Banjo, mandolin, 5 and 6 string basses, guitar, harmonica and different kinds of hand drums/percussion instruments. His cousin was also associated with the Dead for a while, as a piano player in studio and on stage, which explains why he knows so many GD songs lol.

As for the guitar, the parts should be here this weekend. I have it in pieces in my garage ATM.

Parts came, doing a little surgery tonight when I'm home.
