Jimi Hendrix - A Band of Gypsies, 1971 Fillmore East N.Y.

I used to visit this club where they had 2 turntables.
On one was the A-side and on the other one the B-Side.
No other music was played.

Months later, I visited this club again.
They had 2 turntables.

On one they ran the A-side...

Jimi : "Angel" ,Harry Nilsson : "Without You" , The Beatles : "This Boy" (written by John who also did the angst filled vocals-I still get goosebumps as big as oranges)

Like 'em all Derek. Loved Lennon's work immensely. Thanks, for posting.

"Us and Them" by Pink Floyd. Still a great listen after 100's of plays on the stereo.

Also, Sade's "Mermaid" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Owm_gPU4nI

Thanks, for Alice, Whitedog. That was a great addition. Those unplugged are favourites for sure and yours fits the bill. :D
LakePlacidBlues Jazz, Yes was in the groove, and Sade's "Mermaid" passed me by somehow, even though her first album is in my collection.

"Mermaid" won't pass me by again. Definitely chillin'.

Thanks, again for the chills. 8)

Heard this on the radio today. Awesome pedal steel guitar by Jerry Garcia on CSNY's "Teach Your Children Well"
