I'm not going to say it. Nope! I'm not going to say I miss Perry Mason. Not a chance . . . Okay! I give in. Dang, I wish it played here.

I've been watching woman's curling, which they've been playing at night on NBC Sports. What a strange sport that is. :P Next February is the Winter Olympics, which I'm looking forward too. Funny thing is I usually hate winter, but I don't mind watching winter sports, as long as I don't have to be out in it. :P

I really appreciate the total overall excellent production of the Perry Mason episodes. Little things like, when the characters spoke, no music was played, so you could actually hear what they were saying. Good story lines as well. Keeping the episodes in black, and white gave it continuity through out the shows run.

You've got that right about Perry, Glenn.

I still enjoy the simplicity of this production with storylines that can keep you interested without over produced complexity. I kinda wish it was healthy to sit back with my slippers in my easy chair with my long gone pipe to relax with while being entertained with some of the 2,053 characters in the Mr. Mason episodes where Ham Burger gets eaten alive. :D

Why not buy an additional TV and put it in your man cave......?

That's a great suggestion, Arjay. Thanks, for the man support. I have a projector HDTV in my man cave; but, today I was too lazy to leave the lounge chair, wine, and the late dinner arrival she was bringing me. Some things ya just gotta trade.:P
That'll change if I ever finish the theatre sound setup. I should be finished by next year as the man cave is crowded with instruments, and a lot of other paraphernalia being cleared out and re-arranged. Then just let her try to get the remote from my cold dead hands.

They wanted to have William Talman as Perry Mason when the show was being put together. Talman did a TV commercial that was aired after his death from lung cancer. He basically said, when you see this commercial, I will be dead from smoking, causing my lung cancer. He died a year or two after Perry Mason was off the air.

I remember that commercial. How could I not? It was unforgettable and hit a home run in the impact department. I did not know the connection with Perry Mason. Thanks, for the trivia, Mr. Nylon.
