A friendly fight is about to occur with Mrs. FSB and me. Just kiddin’. My TiCats are in town to take on Mrs. FSB’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers. A lot of rival history when this East team meets our West team. Cats are first place this year. Both teams lost their senior QBs this year. Both secondary ones are having a good year, however. Makes the game interesting.

Time is running out as the 107th Grey Cup plays out November 24th.

TiCats beat the Bombers (their first defeat at home). Mrs. FSB took it pretty good. What a great sport she is. :P

Keith Urban was just announced as the Grey Cup entertainment. He’s pumped up for it, having been to Calgary (Nashville of the North) in the past. Should be a great show.

Y La Bamba. Wasn’t sure if I liked the vocals and such at first, Paul; but, then I know live can be more relaxed than studio recording when playing to an audience, not always the case but most often. However, the more I listened the more it tightened up and I actually enjoyed it (being that I dig Latino vibe). The tunes were good and the layering of tones and vocal harmony was a pleasure to listen to. I liked it. Thanks, for posting this delicacy.

I know what you mean. I wasn't too sure at first, and wasn't going to watch it, but then it caught on. Maybe it's because it's something I don't typically listen to a lot of. I'm subscribed to the NPR Music channel, and they send me notifications whenever they publish stuff, that's how I come across these things.

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one getting that feeling. Maybe, it’s ingrained from having asked artists to do extra takes just for me, . . . and that’s even with seasoned pros who consistently pull off good takes but, time allowing, with the odd chance a special performance might happen.

The NPR music channel subscription. Pretty cool. 8) We get some interesting university radio and volunteer low wattage radio at times.

There's a low wattage station here that plays all kinds of stuff. I usually listen to it in the kitchen when I'm cooking.
