I’m not a huge Idol fan as the past reality behind the contest had been hidden in the presentation IMHO. After all, it is TV entertainment, and professional programs are commonly enhanced with a proven formula that comes across smoothly and gives a desired result without the audience analyzing it.

However, I’m taken aback by this season's amazing talent and song choices right across the board, and that includes the guest celebrities and bands. Difficult vocals that stepped up and set a real challenge. Nice! Same show name, but a new vibe. I’m even digging the hip hop. Did I actually say that? :lol: Right now Chris Isakk is doing the duet, but the other experienced artists like lovelytheband run the gamut. I stumbled on these contestants a couple of weeks ago, and got hooked on a show that was on the bottom of my list. :D
