Ouch! I just finished watching the game when 5 minutes were left (all over but the crying) and the recording stopped because of cable issues last night. $&@#! Went to YouTube to see if I could at least pickup the highlights and wrap up. Phew! Got the whole game and the wrap.
Don’t feel bad Crimson Tide, Clemson beat a great team. You just ran up against a text book team, and this was their year. The downside? Teamwork capitalizing on interceptions, one of the best one handed catches ever, a former Alabama boy’s touchdown for Clemson, an Alabama QB now coach for the Tigers, a smaller Clemson defence looking to be outgunned - but faster on the draw including blocking the throws, Alabama getting caught with penalties and an obvious error with a faked kick (what was that all about?); but, most of all, some 19 year old freshman by the name of Trevor Lawrence who has the makings of a star QB.

Tua’s comeback TD immediately after his first interception resulting in Clemson’s TD, first of the game, made me think the Tide were about to roll over the Tigers. Well, the blame can’t go squarely on Tua, he had a bit of a leaky boat and the Tide got hit by a Tsunami.

Still, were it not for Alabama, the game wouldn’t have been the same. Besides, second best isn’t too shabby. I’m looking forward to the rivalry next year, and I know I’m not the only one; although, Clemson has a lot to build on.

I looked as the top two giants went against each other. And that was a fair way to end a season, #1against #2. They started going back and forth on the scoring, and then everything started going on Clemson's plays. Mistakes, and penalties didn't help. We'll see what happens next year.

I had a friend when I was in high school (who was the person to convince me to take up the bass in the first place) tried to make a Strat style body out of clay in art class. He actually made the thing with all of the right dimensions and all of that, but unfortunately, it broke when it was fired in the kiln. That would have been interesting to see if that didn't happen, and if it would have actually worked.
