Right now I'm watching the Astros at the Red Sox, until SNF: the Chiefs at the Patriots comes on.

You know, I watched the show, "H.R. Pufnstuf," that they parodied when I was probably 4 or 5 years old, or around that time. I have to say it was one hell of a head trip to lay on a little kid, but that's what happens when hippies make kid's shows. :P
That’s how you got to be so groovy, Paul. I was stuck with Howdy Doody and Dick and Jane books. Look what that did to me. :?

Well, you were around during the whole hippy generation, so maybe Howdy Doody had something to do with it, or it could have been what my dad called "narcotic music." :P
Bazinga! Good one. You are probably right, Paul. I never did trust Howdy Doody or a clown named Clarabell. That’s why I carried cap guns. You’re dad, however, was probably right too. I think narcotic music (another good one) came about because of the Lawrence Welk show. :P

I used to watch "The Lawrence Welk Show" with my grandparents. :P You know, the guitarist with Lawrence Welk had some Fender guitars. I remember seeing some old footage and he had a custom Jaguar (I think it was,) with the matching painted headstock.

I believe you are right about the Jaguar as you mentioned, Paul. I couldn’t find it, but I seem to recall seeing it. Buddy Merrill and Neil LeVang were excellent guitar players. You’ll see Jazzmaster used a lot, some Strats, and Gibbys a little less. Mostly Fender preference for the electrics used.

Early shredding.

Yeah, they might not have been "rock and roll," but they certainly could play.

I’m watching about a possible $654 Million Jackpot up for grabs in the USA tonight. Wow! That jackpot could buy a lot of legal pot in Canada once the clock strikes midnight in Newfoundland where the first sale is about to happen as all the news reporters are taking to the streets across the land. This country is about to make Woodstock look like a walk in the park. Unfortunately, there are a few parks where walking is not such a great idea.

I wonder if the music will change or if it will just increase EDM Psychedelic Trance music.

Maybe, those Hendrix Strats hanging in the shops will save us. :P
I know this for sure, one doesn’t have to take junk to make psychedelic music anymore than ya have to ride a horse to sing country music. It does help, however, if you wear Tony Lamas to do the boot scootin’ boogie, and wear a flower in your hair or rose coloured glasses (like I had) on your nose to get in the groove.

Check this out:

Oh yeah . . . as much as I love and appreciate it, you also don’t have to live in Mississippi or Chicago to sing the Blues. Ask Eric Clapton and Eric Burdon. Just change your name to Eric.
Peace:
