Saw the new version of "A Star is Born" and I'd give it a B. It got good reviews and
Lady Gaga turns in a great performance and even Bradley Cooper's not too sappy.

Sam Elliot as Cooper's older brother and manager is great as is Andrew Dice Clay
as Gaga's dad. Willie's kid, 'Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real' appear as Cooper's
band and it works well.

This is the 3rd version of the film. Maybe second best? YMMV.

Thanks for the review, Mike. Girls’ night out at the movies will take them to see “A Star Is Born” this Thursday.

Meanwhile, I’m watching Ancient Aliens and this one is about Emperors, Kings, and Pharoahs.
