Thanks for the interesting videos, FSB. I have an open mind on the subject, too. With more and more earth-like planets being discovered in our galaxy, I have to believe that we are not alone in this vast universe. I have never seen a UFO but I would like too. I would love to meet alien beings too. A friend of mine has seen a UFO, here in Arizona, and is a firm believer. He thinks that their presence is kept a secret because humanity would freak out and riots would break out. Maybe he's right, but I would love to meet them.

I think I'll watch some of the video suggestions that popped up after watching your videos, FSB.

Glad you enjoyed the UFO vids, Marky. Interesting about your friend and his experience. I know how difficult it is to discuss with sceptics.

I too was a sceptic, but having had professional association with intellects such as Dr. Hynek: Associate Director of The Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory/NASA advisor/UFOLOGIST, and international astronomers and scientists for the total eclipse, and more as well as spending time in my hometown as a kid sitting in a chair with large telescopes in the observatory beside the mirror polisher for Hubble, my scepticism wanes.

I was at a diner late one night where a gentleman living upstairs came in to announce that he just saw a UFO. Needless to say his small audience was less than receptive. Had it not been for the fella running the diner and vouching for him there would have been no takers. The next day’s media proved him to be correct.

I’ve had an experience with a bush pilot neighbour, but even simpler I and others have seen some familiar natural phenomena over the years, all of which can be explained, but others refuse to accept it until they too experience it, and yet, based on heresay and video they’ll accept submarines never having seen one? In fact it is amazing how much is accepted without researching the facts.

UFOs exist for me, but I think they are a variety of things. Aliens? Like it or not we are aliens. Maybe we are the same aliens we talk of. Did you know babies are sometimes born with 6 fingers or toes or a part of or less? I’m still in awe of what earth’s creatures are in the plan of life. Do I think there are others in space. Yes. However, what others are . . . that is the question. IMHO.

YMMV as Martian would have said.

Meanwhile, we still drive cars on rubber tires.

I'm not sure if I'd ever posted this here before, but I found this a while back while looking at some Jack Bruce videos. Pretty cool concert. 8)

This might be considered sacrilegious, and I don't mean to piss off any of his fans, but I don't miss Eric Clapton with this reunion of sorts, with the Cream songs. I like what Gary Moore did with the songs, with his touch to it, and his overall sound. I would have liked to have seen more of this trio together.

Hope you can get it, Marky. We watch it just before crashing at night. Puts us in a good mood before a morning wake up. :P
I missed out on so many sitcoms and dramas over the years due to making TV instead of watching it. It’s a pleasure to catch up now.

The first time I saw Everybody Loves Raymond the wife was sleeping beside me. The episode was a belly laugh episode that almost knocked me out of bed. I hurt bad because I stifled the laughter so as not to wake Mrs. FSB. I almost burst a blood vessel. I’ve never looked back, and I am still catching up, I miss The Redd Foxx show too.

There is still some funny stuff today, but not a lot. Most of it is the same old shlock from a very few. Comedy was less cynical, less political, and belly laugh funny because of the writing and jokes rather than the shock factor and the join the crowd audience. Different society. IMHO. The success and return of these vintage shows speak for themselves. I’m lovin’ it. :D
Perry Mason is always good, and I recently discovered The Sopranos series on my Video On Demand. I’ve refused to watch the Sopranos unless it was from the beginning. Whoo hoo! Now I have it.

Looks to be a TV show that I can’t refuse. My home borders an Italian neighbourhood. 8)
FSB

Meanwhile, watching CFL BC Lions and Hamilton TiCats.

Hope Crimson came through for ya, Glenn.

The Vikings (full season PVR’d)

IMHO There are a lot of worthy actors in this and other mega series that deserve those coveted awards given behind the red carpet. In fact many of the supporting actors are better than less capable award winning leading actors. Unfortunately, recognition is not to be for the many. I think we are lucky to have their talent which separates them from the mediocre.

The entertainment world is full of little big stars and big little stars.

Vive la differénce!
