I found this during one of my YouTube browsing sessions. It's one of my favorite "rock and roll movies." I think I might have a VHS recording of the actual film that I might have taped a few years ago. Of course, I'd need to hook up a VCR player again.

**How about some of those old console stereos? Some were actually quite good, and some were tubes like the inherited mono console downstairs that has almost no nearby AM stations to receive. I have a fond memory of my dad’s feet sticking out from under an Orthophonic Hi-Fidelity Stereo console. I thought he was fixing it when he coaxed me to lie alongside under the console. He said, “Listen to that! The sound is amazing!” I don’t remember the songs, but it was amazing compared to the Bluetooth can in the drawer. :P

Those systems were very cool, but there is one thing modern that I find amazing, which is those portable Bluetooth speakers, which are slightly larger than a Coke can, yet put out an amazing amount of bass. I just find it interesting how tiny speakers can do that these days. That's certainly handy if you can't bring a big stereo with you, when you're out and about, that sort of thing.

Yeah! Pretty amazing. Fortunately for me I won a good pair from B.B. this summer and, although I’ll seldom use the feature, you can tap them for decent percussive and cymbal sounds with a light show with or without music.

The only thing I don’t like about many is the fact that the re-chargeable batteries are not replaceable so that means good stuff is going to the landfill, and new ones need to be bought if that’s desired.

I’m watching a clip on Japanese Billionaire Yusaku Maezawa. Remember that name.

He is an art collector and he is about to take some artists of his choosing to the moon around 2023. He is going to make it an art project, and the shuttle looks like a Buck Rogers spaceship. Pretty cool. 8)

Funny timing. I just finished reading an article about Yusaku Maezawa. Here is the link:

Great minds think alike, huh. Marky? The fact that Musk is involved makes things interesting. I’m not so sure I would want to be the first to take the spaceman challenge (and I’ve sat in a dinky capsule and a space station at Expo).

I saw an old Mercury capsule and I don't think I'd fit.

Those Mercury capsule seats were so cramped that your elbows were pretty much tucked in for protection, and even I with a 28” waist and 135 pounds back then would have had to be pried out of the Mercury seat. The two seater Geminis had more room for arm movement, but still they were snug. For the astronauts it seemed like luxury. I wouldn’t like to have had a cramp in either. :o
My ‘63 Mercury was comfy, however. :P

Ancient Aliens
About contacting aliens and Roswell’s 1947 UFO report.

I was born just six months after Roswell’s incident. In the sixties my father worked at Winnipeg’s air base with connections to NORAD and SAC with over 100 nukes just across the border and a reactor just out of town. A UFO downplayed office (similar to Project Bluebook) was reported to be down the hall from my father’s office. In 1975 a major UFO incident involving my broadcast station and international interests happened at the time I worked there. This is partially why my interest keeps an open mind amongst the curiosity.

Here is an example of activity around here:

. . . and, most of all, from a co-worker that I saw with Mounties, Air Force and Government officials, along with expert scientists brought in there was this film analyzed frame by frame for hours behind locked doors throughout an early morning while I was waiting outside the secret conversation in a station with bare bones staff over night. I’ve spoken to the photographer over years that followed. There was more film as I recall, and the UFOs over the town of Carman repeated the air show for days and many in the town including officials saw the event. By calculating the film movement and 24 frames per second it was determined that, considering trajectory, as known, it could not have been replicated by man. It remains one of the most talked about UFO mysteries even today.
