Inside Politics.

A great way to start the day with a little laughter. Some of the jokes are getting a little old though. We have our own laughter on this side of the border. Everybody knows this land is full of comedians, and we are fortunate to have some who are bilingual. That means we get the same joke twice. Then, of course, some of us don’t get it at all. :P

Moosemeat and Marmalade

I’m eating out of town bakery cinnaminaminimon toast with a hot cup of Peruvian brew.

Meanwhile, I’m watching traditional First Nation recipes on APTN (Aboriginal Peoples Television Network). The network is headquartered here in Winnipeg, and it is fantastic from dramas to Indian and Aliens documentaries, and everything in between. High quality programming with movies and a great look at this country and others, our native contributions, lots of outdoors stuff, music and more. A nice change from the usual fluff. :D

Wow that sounds delicious and fun, FSB. I'm glad you are having a good time!
I'm not watching anything now but, last night, I watched a horrible movie on Netflix. It was one of those where I kept watching it thinking that it might turn out to be ok, but it didn't. At the end of the movie, I was thinking why didn't I turn it off sooner? I'll never learn.

I know what you mean, Marky. I’m always asking Mrs. FSB to hang in there for movies that go on and on without any beginning or end. Instead of having that cinnaminaminimon in my tummy I end up with egg on my face, and it makes it harder to convince her to watch my next feature choice. Hahaha. I hate those duds. :x

One of two, Marky. I worked as a cameraman for the Bomber games and they are a household name here; but, my father’s favourite team was the Hamilton Tiger Cats which has been my team since a little kid. The team’s history goes back as a football club, although not always CFL since 1869, just about when football was created from rugby in Canada, with Harvard invited to add an extra team. The Tiger Cats in various forms are one of only two teams in North America to have won league championships in every decade of the 20th century. Baseball’s Triple A Rochester Redwings are the other team. A 1961 exhibition game against the Buffalo Bills was won by Hamilton 38-21.

That said, Winnipeg Blue Bombers have a pretty good, although shorter history. Bud Grant was the coach until vacating to the Minnesota Vikings. Our loss and Minnesota’s gain.

When each team plays I cheer for them, unless they play against each other. :D
