Big deal. I’ve seen my tummy before. I’m about to grab some morning joe, raisin biscuits, and watch the morning snooze.

Actually, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen that movie and others like it even available. I’ll bet you enjoyed it , Glenn. I used to like Combat with Vic Morrow who was tragically killed in a chopper accident filming The Twilight Zone movie..

I used to like watching Combat, and The Gallant Men, when they both aired at the same time. That was a shame how that Huey accident happened in the filming of that segment of the movie.

Yes, it was. I remember that like it happened yesterday. It was pretty big news, and a pretty big shock.

I found more just on the accident here:

That incident brought out the reality of stunts in movies can be deadly. Somewhat how the Challenger explosion brought to the reality of how deadly, and dangerous space travel can be. Many people forgot about the Apollo One accident. And they were just sitting in an Apollo craft going nowhere.

You are right about that. It must be human nature to take things for granted. I cringe at some of the things I see in the great outdoors. I have a buddy that likes to walk about a small boat like he knows how to swim if he fell overboard. Others just believe it won’t happen to them. Anyway you look at it, riding a real rocket isn’t like Slim Pickins riding an H-Bomb movie prop.

How true. I think I came to the realization that I was not invincible back in 1969. After that time, I really wasn't that quick to take chances I did before then.
