I’m starting to realize how small rather than how large the media world is.

Without getting into the Internet ads, promos, articles and videos, it’s become even more evident to me that at least in the Western world we can’t shut ourselves off from being blasted with the same selected personalities plastered everywhere telling the same story over and over in your face.

Television, movies, mainstream and gossip newspapers, self promoting award shows and the list goes on. If you didn’t catch it the first, second, third, or fourth round you’ll get hit with it again at the cashier’s counter where you’re likely to see these celebs in duplicate on different issues from a magazine rack. Variety and uniqueness has pretty much been replaced by cheaper shared and rewritten copy, which also lends itself to the reason for so many historical prints and documentaries. The bulk of it is money in the bank because it has been produced and paid for previously.

Even more insult is added to the senses, when you buy two apparently different magazines (or watch a show) with a topic or subjects of interest, you might get a redundancy in repetitive blab from the other buried in the works.
I have a book on subliminal advertising . . . and, questionably, yes it and familiarity does work.

There’s a saying. “What’s old is new again”. Based on the short list of beautiful people and oversaturation I’d like to add, “What’s new is old again”.
