I’m flipping news channels.

Whether you are a news hound or infoholic you might want to catch up on today’s events. There is so much happening that there is constant shifting and cutaways to and from today’s news stories. I don't know who opened the door first, but it’s wide open.

One story is that Mark Zuckerberg is about to give a testimony in Washington. Apple co-founder Steve “The Woz” Wozniak has decided to pull his account based on his take on what Facebook is and isn’t.

At the very least, assumed privacy and more government control for Facebook and others are being considered (no surprise there). At the most, some influential lawmakers are asking for an unlikely, but not impossible, complete breakup of the service. Hey! They did it with phone companies. :wink:
Canadians were originally said to be the largest per capita early adopters of Facebook, possibly because of wide coverage and early connectivity to high speed Net. I still haven’t jumped in, and I have sadly missed out on the fun and benefits, but I also missed the hazards. This holds true for Photobucket too. I guess I like to look under the hood before going for a rocky ride. Unfortunately, I sometimes miss the trip altogether. :roll: It remains to be seen what choices will be available in the future. My guess is that a lot more will come with a price tag.
