I am having a good day. I got up nice and early today, the weather is beautiful and I don't have much pain today. I have two errands to do and my son is going with me so I don't have to bring my wheelchair. All I have to do is drive. We'll pick up lunch somewhere on my way home. This afternoon I will be working on my home studio. I'm still having plugin problems but I can make my first attempt at recording without them. :) I read this morning, FSB that there is an 80% chance that Apple will buy out Netflix. I have all the satellite channels including HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz, Encore, On Demand and other channels like Netflix, Amazon, YouTube etc. My TV's are "smart" and connected to the Internet on my wifi network so when you guys post cool videos I send them from my laptop or phone to the big screen that has eight speakers and a sub. :) I'm not bragging, believe me, it's just that my "entertainment" budget is split between TV and music because I can't do other things that I would love to like go to concerts or on vacations or things like that.
I hope all of you have a fine day! :D

PS - I just noticed what Forum I posted to. :? I'm watching Shania Twain Up! Live In Chicago 2003 on YouTube.

Hey, that’s not bragging, Marky. That’s cool you have all that.

I probably wouldn’t have the media I do, but Mrs. FSB and I like different things at times, and a lot of this comes bundled,
and in order to use the hardware around the house we probably have more than we need. Besides the services are always changing as we speak.

A lot of good stuff comes with a lot of useless fluff though. It’s like in the days when you wanted and bought a great comic book, but had to pay for a bunch of crappy ones that you didn’t want. You had to reluctantly take them all because they were included and bundled in a plastic sealed wrapper. To make matters worse you might have seen the unwanted stuff before. :?

As a former commercial director, I get browned off paying for a service that throws commercials at me. That’s double dipping in my books. Even the movies do it. :?:

Enjoy your eight speakers and entertainment, Marky. That’s why they built it. :D I bet you go through a lot of popcorn. :P

Thanks FSB. I know what you mean. "They" keep sneaking in more and more commercials everywhere. Have you seen "Minority Report"? In it, Tom Cruise is walking through an airport (I think) and there are huge advertising screens everywhere. As he walks by them, the commercials become directed at him. They even address him by his name.
We made it home safe and sound and I'm going to watch an episode of Cops.

The weather report. I guess the term "Nor'easter" isn't sinister enough so they
are saying we're having a "Bomb Cyclone" tomorrow!

Some are saying Bombogenesis :

I read about that, Mike. Sounds nasty with freezing rain, etc as far south as your area. Stay safe my friend.

That’s pretty interesting, Mike. Thanks, for the post.

It always amazed me to see tiny birds traversing the ocean sky so far from land. I’m guessing a lot of wildlife will find it impossible to avoid a storm like this. On the other hand, they sometimes have a special sense that moves them out of harm’s way when possible.

I wish them well on their journey. The little birds bring smiles amongst the mariners who appreciate a small touch of something new to enjoy.

Checking up on the severe weather in the East of Canada and the USA. Brutal.

All that’s missing is a Zamboni.

CNN. I need a good laugh. Now their news amounts to the longest book review ever. What’s next? Marvel comics?

Well, I can’t say they have no argumentative points; but, if they keep going in the direction they are now they may lose even more credibility and journalism respect. CNN is really good at avoiding alternative views by timely losing connection or going to a break. Too bad they don’t stay in a break. Perhaps, another operation more even handed would step in to present news of the day without predictability and one script.

To justify and promote CNN’s beliefs they win awards, and they include other corporate family award winners who have gotten these accolades and reviews from the same boss or related. No one else need apply. Must be okay then, huh?
Not to worry, though. Someday they’ll make good poll dancers with a spin or two. After all, regardless of one’s politics (YMMV) the bullying (which spreads far and wide) taking over conversation is pretty obscene as it currently is.
