Same here. I can't watch CNN at all. :evil:
CBC and other news services have fallen into the abyss to reflect the same journalism weaknesses that is more editorial than news coverage. I’m finding BBC (up here BBC Canada) still does a decent job filling that void. At the very least they don’t supply us with identical video and scripted blurb and edited sound bites on a loop that says Live. It’s refreshing to see what the news of the day is. :wink:
I think part of the problem is that, aside from having widespread coverage with CNN controlling the footage (which can also be a detriment), local news has cut costs and much of it is rip and read of provided stories that fall short. So politics aside, if that’s possible, local reporters are the horses’ mouth per se. CNN is more like the donkey. IMHO.

So, here I am watching Mrs. FSB cooking a Christmas ham, and you don’t see that everyday. :lol:

It's the BBC for me too, FSB. I've been getting their daily emails for years and find them to be a refreshing source of the news. Not perfect, but much better. To me perfect would be if thsy just reported "facts" and let me form my own opinions. Enjoy the ham!

I found out 10 minutes ago that Christmas was changed to my house! So, I'll be watching myself scurry around trying to get ready and brush up on some Christmas songs. :shock:

Youse is a good guy to have scurry around, Marky. That hot ham of ours is going for a ride to enjoy with family. It’s the coldest day of the year at - 26 degrees Farenheight (-15C) without the wind chill. We should be taking a cold ham with us. It could end up being frozen by the time we get there. :lol:
