Toronto Argonauts beat Calgary Stampeders (the best team over the year). Calgary lost 4 games this year while Toronto lost 9.

Argos’ DeVier Posey (Ohio State, Houston Texans , Denver Broncos, NY Jets) Cup MVP hauled in the longest pass play TD in Grey Cup history - 100 yards! Later, Toronto’s Cassius Vaughn 109 yard fumble return for a TD.. It was a league record. A field goal sealed the win with 53 seconds left in the game.

Congrats, Toronto.

Crosshairs converging on an HDTV projection screen. A delinquent audio cable came loose on an A/V receiver causing a sudden extreme misalignment of RGB that could not be corrected with the normal process, and then the set suddenly shut down the video completely until I made a calculated guess and found the culprit. Thankfully, I knew audio could mess video under some conditions, and it wasn’t a repair job. :P

Gee thanks, Marky. We used to introduce audio into video back when the dinosaurs roamed to create a ripple effect in dream sequences back in the Black and White TV days with shades of the Twilight Zone and Sc-Fi looking on. Dang! Now the secret’s out.

A special on Gypsy Rose Blanchard. She was mentally abused and, along with Münchausen syndrome by proxy, she was unnecessarily thought to need a wheelchair even after two differing doctor checkups. It gets more complicated.

She now serves time in prison for killing her abusive mother.

I don’t usually watch Dr. Phil, but Mrs. FSB has it on, and this revealing episode caught my attention.

I finally got to watch these episodes, FSB. It's an amazing and sad story.

Yup! It certainly is an eye opener. Not like your average talk circuit story. Glad you got to see it, Marky. :D

Speaking of talk shows, I once worked with a girl who had been a guest on a major American network talk show. Some time later she got a call from a producer asking her to do a return to the show, all expenses paid, to tell of how she and her husband were not getting along. When she told the producer that wasn’t the case, and that since the original show she and her husband were getting along extremely well, no trip to or appearance for the show was warranted. The producer did a song and dance saying it didn’t matter and if she would just go along saying there were problems in the relationship she could have a free trip and weekend holiday. Needless to say the offer was declined. Whoa! Fake news stopped before it began.

OMG, people never cease to amaze me. Good for her that she turned the offer down.
