Unbelievable Saskatchewan Roughriders and Toronto Argonauts game. Argos get to the Grey Cup in the last 5 minutes of the game after Saskatchewan scored 18 points in the 4th Quarter!
Final Score: 25 - 21

Currently a 2nd quarter last minute touchdown has it at 20 - 15 with Cowtown leading Edmonchuk at half time.
On behalf of Matt, my mother originally from Edmonton, and the fact that the Argonauts are the enemy, I gotta go with the Eskies. Besides, they look better in toques.

Disappointing outcomes on both games for sure.
VERY disappointing.

I predict the Stamps are prolly going to crush the Argos.
Just decimate them.
I don’t even think it will be close.
Not that it matters anymore.
I have nobody to root for now.

Now that we are down to this, I might not even watch Grey Cup this year.
I’ll prolly be stuck watching it anyway.
Be hard to make other plans for that timeslot.

Sorry about the Eskies, Matt. I don’t have a favourite team to choose for either.
But, I’ll watch the game all the same. The games today, end result aside, were probably better than the Cup will be. Both of these were decided in the final minutes.
But, then again, so many games in the CFL were like that this season.
I’m hoping Halifax will be a team to win the Cup someday, and that’s not even my team.
On the music side, Shania is the act for Grey Cup half time.

A special on Gypsy Rose Blanchard. She was mentally abused and, along with Münchausen syndrome by proxy, she was unnecessarily thought to need a wheelchair even after two differing doctor checkups. It gets more complicated.

She now serves time in prison for killing her abusive mother.

I don’t usually watch Dr. Phil, but Mrs. FSB has it on, and this revealing episode caught my attention.

Side note: My father introduced me to a former window dresser for Macy’s. He lived in the Vancouver apartment building, and they gave him a workshop where he could continue to build small, medium, and large models of each float proposed for Macy’s parades. Detailed drawings and instructions accompanied the shipment. His reputable designs graced the Rosebowl, and others.

He would start off with a concept miniature for proposal. Changes would be shoebox size, and approved models would be larger for shipment, and pretty much exact with motor drives, etc. He had some past examples which he showed us in shoeboxes. They were very cool. Now ya know.
