I'm watching a true story of mountaineer and outdoorsman Aron Ralston who, in 2003, amputated his arm because he was pinned down as a result of falling in a canyon in Utah.

The movie is called 127 Hours and is highly recommended. Not for the queasy though.

Even though these aren't music related , these are shows which I watch regularly. Being both a artist and a comic book fan , now is a great time for us fans.
Gotham ,
Arrow,
The Flash,
DC's Legends Of Tomorrow,
The Walking Dead,
Beware The Walking Dead ,
Plus, MeTV has bought back on Saturday nights at 6 PM , " The Wild, Wild , West " with Robert Conrad and Ross Martin. I loved this show as a kid and have not seen any reruns since the 1970's, so having it back , is a lot of fun and a must see .

Harley and The Davidsons

Funny thing is that behind the house is a neighbour's
new Hog, and in front is another neighbour's new Indian.

I remember going to Seattle's Seafair races, and making a side trip to discover the record collection of legendary Tower Records. We wanted to see the store we had heard so much about from this side of the border. Mrs. FSB and I made it to an empty parking lot and a closed store. The rest is history, and I just finished watching the documentary 'All Things Must Pass: The Rise and Fall of Tower Records'. Sad story of a great retailer. :(

I too loved the old show and tonight I was introduced to the new version on HBO. Conrad and Martin were a perfect match that made that original show a hit. Some pretty good actors in the new one so time will tell. A little hard to follow for some; but, we oldtimers have a leg up on that problem.

Since I don't usually watch TV until I go to bed (unless it's either "Walking Dead" shows,) I'll tape a bunch of stuff on a VCR and watch it then. I got a bunch of movies and documentaries, especially music related that I've taped over the years, and of course DVDs I've bought, too. I'm not totally old school, you know. :P They never seemed to have come out with a DVD recorder that worked like a VCR, to where you could record something and keep it, if you want too. I've understood those DVRs don't let you keep anything, or can burn it to a disc. Correct me if I'm wrong on that. Besides, if it isn't broke, why fix it?

I just watched that recently too. I felt very old remembering how great it used to be to go to record stores, hang out, all those LP's with the great artwork. For me that documentary spoke to that whole era and not just Tower records.

It's Sunday, so it's "Walking Dead" tonight. Last week was particularly nasty. :P
