Well, I'm going out to watch the wasps to try to catch them off guard before they build anymore nests. :?
FSB

I wonder if a big paper mâché wasp would scare those critters away?

Me too! That Perry Mason is one tough character; but, Matlock wins acquittals. :P

Yeah. I always check in on those channels to see what's replacing the news.
Right now I'm watching Fixer Upper instead of fixing around home.

It's kind of like the 60's again, with all of the protesting and counter protesting, then threats of nuclear war with North Korea. I still remember doing "duck and cover" drills as a child in elementary school. I'm not sure how well I'd fit under those little desks these days, though. :P

I remember doing those drills too, Paul. I definitely wouldn't fit under one of those desks today but if I did I'd never get out.

In the 50's, they had us up against the walls, in the hallways, outside of our classrooms.

Well, Paul it's not quite like the 60s. First of all, protestors, whether actors (like Jane Fonda) or musicians, civil rights activists like Martin Luther King and his followers, or Nixon and Goldwater worker Hillary Clinton, they were marching against or denouncing, for the most part, the Kennedys and Johnson - Democrats. Today they have changed hats and many of these 60s concerned citizens jumped ship and joined the other side as liberal media, and government officials on the left, and most of all they now throw insults instead of flowers and peace symbols. 60s activists didn't just talk of each other they put themselves after others. Less so today. Many of today's celebrities and protestors are experiencing the happening rather than the spirit of the 60s where protestors and great men like Martin Luther King knew restraint along with perseverance.

One thing that is like the 60s is that in 1964 between classes I got picked up at high school and was delivered to a destroyer's cafeteria where we watched and waited for orders that never came - thankfully.

Today, I'm 5 hours north of a target of North Dakota B 52s and ICBMs. That 's probably no worse than my living in Tornado Alley.
Who knows? Although not my thing, perhaps, legalized marijuana and psychedelic songs will mellow everyone out.

The 60s? I wish.
Now where's my tie dye shirt?

Peace
