The same here, Star Trek.

Sounds like you guys are watching the original series? I've been watching The Next Generation series on Netflix. I remember when TNG came out. I thought it could never be as good as the original and I refused to watch it for the first couple of years (that was long ago) but it's actually pretty good. Nothing could replace the original series though, IMO.

I do prefer the original series. But, I do like the new Star Trek movies with Chris Pine as Capt. James T. Kirk.

Some chick flick my better half leaves me with as she wanders about.
That's okay though as she watched the football games with me the other day.
I told her that I was posting this, and she just laughs. The movie's still on. I guess that's why I have a Man Cave.

You know, I haven't followed any baseball this year, for some reason. Maybe I'll try to catch the World Series. I haven't even checked the stats and see who's in the top positions.

I'm the same way. The earliest shows that I remember watching as a little kid were "Star Trek," "Star Trek: The Animated Series," and "Batman." Of course, this were all in syndication (although, the cartoon version did come out in the 70's, so maybe not,) since this was the mid 70's, and I wasn't born yet when they first aired. I like the new one with Chris Pine, too. I've only seen the first one, though. I've been way behind on seeing a lot of movies that I've wanted to see in the past few years. I need to catch up.

I like watching a game when I can. It's been a while since I was at a Marlins game though. The last game I was at, was five years ago, when my daughter sang the National Anthem at one.

I'm kinda' like you with going to see a movie. I caught up on a few movies on the flights to, and from Ireland. There was a good bit of time see some I wanted to, but never got to see them. The two I really liked on the flight were, "Jason Bourne", and "Deepwater Horizon".
