Like baseball? Talk about it here.

I've been a Yankees fan since I read Hemingway's The old Man and the sea, were he mentions Joe DiMaggio a couple of times.

I am watching them while I wait for tonight's gig.

Baseball? That's like cricket for those who can only afford half a field, right?

In some of the past years we've had sports playoff threads. Mostly Football
I think....maybe hockey and more, but it was finals.

I have been watching some of the Little League World Series games. I find
them more interesting than the pro games at times.

They say one of the great things about baseball is that you can go to a game and see something that has never happened before -- like two rookies hitting back-to-back homers in their first ever MLB plate appearances.

Okay, staying with the hot dog theme...

QUESTION: What is the difference between a Dodgers hot dog and a Giants hot dog?

ANSWER: You can buy Giants hot dogs in October!!!

I love the game I try to watch every Yankee game on YES and other networks when not on YES, been a fan since 1963 when my pop took me to my first game at Yankee stadium. At the same time I have my guitar plugged in and TV on low and I practice during the game sometimes I look up and 2 or 3 inning have passed, but this also give me lots of practice

I can't get YES down here. When I heard it was on Comcast I contacted them, but since then Comcast has pulled the plug on YES. FWIW, we get every game on AM radio. Just like the old days, static and all. The station even cuts its power at night. :x
