Some idea of the style, genre, type of music, instrumentation, etc., would help.

An excellent point, there, if we're talking about this thread actually producing a workable / usable name! :D

Stylistically it's rock with a bit of an alt-country and blues flavor. Influences include the Black Crowes, $@!&#*, Ryan Adams, Counting Crows, Neil Young - although we do some straight-up rockers as well.

It's a female-fronted 4-piece band: lead vox (her vocals have hints of Ann Wilson, Alannah Myles, even Sarah McLachlan at times), guitar (me!), bass, drums. I stick to a dirt simple rig with a Tele played through a Super-Sonic 22 and a couple of pedals.

Does that help paint the picture?

We went looking at an old van which had been used by a nunnery and on one of the front wheel arches was a donation box with "Little sisters of the poor" written on it
We thought hard about using it for a good while but decided against it eventually

It sure does! And sounds really interesting! Would love to hear some of the rough production tracks even if they're not yet mixed. Not any Band Name jumping out yet....

Sounds like "The Usual Suspects" to me.

I agree with "the usual suspects" point of view. Why not something that stands out?
I use variants of "yomamma" online sometimes. It garners hits.
