Hi, Lizards! Another fine day 6F and -14C above with 69% humidity. Where’s my tan lotion?

Have a good one!

Glenn, we have hgher humidity than you do for a change. At 11am it's 65/18 degrees and partly cloudy with 57% humidity. :D

That sounds nice. How high is your humidity usually?

It's usually below 30%. Sometimes even in the single digits. My old arthritic joints seem to prefer low humidity. :)

Wow! That's low humidity. I think I'd have some serious problems in that dry of a climate.

Good morning, all. 8) I have rehearsal this afternoon in Boston, since we have a gig on March 3rd, I do believe. Not a lot of time left, so it's good to really get cracking.

Good morning, day off for the working people in Alberta today. It's a holiday called Family Day. Enjoy

Les has been cleaned, waxed, polished and put back in its case. At 10+lbs it's a beast and too heavy for me. I have a friend who used to drool over it so maybe it will soon be in a new home with someone who will enjoy it. When I brought it back upstairs I brought down a nice light acoustic to play for a change. :)

OK, I'll bite.
Why are we thankful for spell check?

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Spell check, smell check. Now I have to choose between either a great boat picture at night or this one for the morning. Thanks a lot, Glenn. If I want to stay in one piece I’ll have to pout over a bowl of jello.

I’ve thought of hauling a 10 pounder as an additional guitar. I think I’d have to sit down with it for some comfort. I get the beauty and mojo of it all, but I’m in no hurry to jump around with a 10 lb. bag of potatoes around my neck. If anything I wouldn't mind going lighter YMMV.

My old 12 string was a decent weight, my 6 string acoustic is feather light, and my Strat is 8 lbs., but the one I traded off was a tad lighter. For me 7-8 lbs. is manageable. Not having to do regular gigging, I could make exceptions with GAS.

At least you’ll have satisfaction knowing it’s going to a good home, Marky. Still it’s like losing an old friend. Although, look at Mr.Nylon. He’s seen a lot of old friends come and go in the bass arena. :P
