George Harrison would be 77 today.

That's a cool site, Mike. Thanks!

Good morning, everyone!

Good Morning y’all. +1 on the cool site, Mike.

It was February 26th, 1966 and I was in love. Nancy Sinatra (sorry Jane Fonda) rocked my world. I was about to graduate from high school 2-3 days away from the girl in the go-go boots; but alas, she had other plans, That was okay though. Lee Hazlewood and his raspy vocal chords put out some great songs, and the rest is history, Besides, I got over Nancy the next year when Grace Slick came along. White Rabbit charted number 1 in Canada, reaching only 6 and 8 in the U.S. charts. Hmmm.

Nancy Sinatra? Not so much. Grace Slick? Yes, although very short lived. Janis Joplin was next, also short lived. Linda Ronstadt was my next crush, followed by Emmy Lou Harris. Perhaps accountable by our age difference. Or not. I also had a very short lived crush on Gayle McCormick. But that would probably be a regional preference rather than national.

YMMV,

Well, not so much difference, vinyl. As some here know, at the age of 22 I got crushed with a bear hug from Janis just months before she died, but that’s another story.

For thirty years, I was disadvantaged with models, international entertainers, and quite a few Miss Manitoba’s on staff. I took the abuse like a man. Just like others here and elsewhere in the entertainment industry, you get used to it. Yeah, right.
