Got up to the noise of trucks flushing the sewers out. We had to close all the drains, cover the basement drain which has a ball to prevent common overflow, and place towels around the toilet in case the back flow from the trucks causes a problem. Then we get to run out any dirty water from the taps and so on. Nice, huh?

I have a water cooler and a cheap portable toilet for emergencies that came in handy long ago so we're good to go.
Where to go? That shopping thing with Mrs. FSB again.

Have a great morning. It's Java time. :D

Good morning Lounge Lizards. I hope you all have a nice day. :)

FSB - I hope that sewer thing worked out for you and you didn't spend too much with Mrs. FSB, unless it was on guitar stuff. :D

No problem with the sewers; but, one does wonder about the possibilities when you get a letter of what to do and not to do before they start (especially since the homeowner is responsible for any damage caused between the road and the home). As for shopping with Mrs. FSB, I got away lucky and she even bought me jelly beans. :D I'm hoping to add another guitar at the end of the year. I'll have to wait and see.

Time for eggs. hash browns, toast, and fresh coffee.

Have a good morning and great day.

FSB

It is 1:20 pm here, I go back to work and in the evening, new strings for my Strat copy, I personally like Fender 150M 011/049.
I contacted a guy who sells a Strat classic series 60s neck near me, I hope to hear from him tonight!

Good day to you,

Didier

'Morning everyone. I, ahem, will be turning the big seven oh at the end of the year so it may be a way to celebrate if I'm in the mood.  I don't know if an axe is in the cards yet as it is not a need for gigging, but more of a want for practice, recording, and enjoyment. I have a lot of priorities both for recording hardware and other things; but, I've been considering adding something that I can use unplugged rather than the Strat. More like an acoustic. I'm not positive yet as I am definitely going to use my ears (and budget) more than my eyes (although, looks do count to a lesser degree unless Willie wants to give me Trigger). With lots to choose from including Canada's Godin and Seagulls, I tried a Tak that spoke to me, but I didn't jump at it. I also have some interest in Gretsch, but that's a little different. I'll be watching for used as well as new. That's if I make it to 70.

Good Morning!

I never played a Godin but I just looked at some on the Web... sweet! I really like Taks and Seagulls too. It's always fun shopping around. :) BTW - I don't like the look of SG's either.
As far as that turning 70 thing goes, don't say that. It's already in the bag. :D

Well, the one saving grace is that Mrs. FSB is a tad younger than me and I kid her about my not having an old fart living with me. I'm not stressed out knowing Keef and Jagger are still rockin' and I passed by a computer at the Microsoft store in Vancouver recently. If you looked at it the PC would analyze your face and tell your age. Twice it said I was 59! That's about as accurate as Siri. Good way to sell computers though.

Good morning my Lounge buddies! It is a chilly 19 degrees with 22" of snow on the ground here in the Thousand Islands! Mrs ABS is spoiling me with her amazing French Toast for breakfast. Then it is some chores and into the studio for the day! Have a great weekend!

19 F here in the prairie town with slush following our first rainfall (hurray) before a last ditch brief attempt at snow.

Nice to see you here, airbornestrat. Good morning and afternoon all. Have a good one.
