Snowed yesterday.

Missed the last couple of mornings. Pretty busy crunching numbers, and deciphering my mom’s bank statements. If I ever want to hide something, I’ll go to da bank. Gotta do all this because my recently new Epson doesn’t print money. Waaahh! I was wondering why I couldn’t order the paper. :P
Now I can wish you Good Morning and goodnight.

Z

Good Morning Lizards. There!s a commotion going on outside after a brief hiatus. Don’t know whether to look out the window to see the street torn up or the last of the snow on the ground.
Happy Hump Day

And a funky Friday to you too, FSB.
Here's a little article that might interest you:
Amazon, Apple and Google all employ staff who listen to customer voice recordings from their smart speakers and voice assistant apps.

Good morning, all!

Good morning, all!
Great article, Marky. I have mics on my pricey Air Miles wifi/ bluetooth Harman Kardons. H K originally said the mics were for future use, but as of today, and with an upgraded similar model out there, I’m still searching for future documentation and answers.

Whole home voice control from California was in my home back in the early 80s. Back then it cost $2000; but, I luckily had it on loan for years to demo to others. Sophisticated as it was and wasn’t, eavesdropping was not a concern as the unit did not use late coming social media, etc. It learned by itself with our verbally teaching it. Only users that did the training had access. A problem occurred with automated voice control at the receiving end of a phone call. It could sometimes be triggered when you asked for and got a vocal return for ferry schedules and so on. No way to teach it to disregard the automated voice. A regular phone call was no problem. Thanks for the link. :D

Buyer beware and be careful of what you wish for.
PS If one wants to bail out of privacy abuse and is thinking about a new TV in the future, if you wait, you may be stuck with audio and video surveillance built into that flat screen or your workplace. That would be a nice good morning to wake up to. Time to become the unknown comedian with a bag on the head.

Thanks, FSB. I'm glad you liked the article. I'm not super private but I don't like the thought of someone being able to listen in on my private, in-home conversations. I hadn't heard about new TV's being able to listen to and view what's happening in my house. That is so not cool with me.
